Experience the Desert Dawn at Sossusvlei

Watching the sunrise over the Sossusvlei Dunes in Namibia is a sight few experience in their lifetime, and it’s one you can’t miss.

These dunes are among the highest in the world, and offer the most extraordinary photographic opportunities – especially at dawn when the rising sun paints the landscape in shades of pastel tones.

This half-day tour will take you on a guided walk to Deadvlei and give you the opportunity to hike to the top of a dune for panoramic views of the desert as far as the eye can see.

Travel Tip:

While you’ll start your climb up the dunes early in the morning, the sun will soon break the horizon, so make sure you have a wide-brimmed hat to counter the sun on your assent.
